Throw Ann Arbor

Throw Ann Arbor is a pottery studio where beginners can try the wheel in a guided two-hour session, pick a glaze, and have the studio finish the piece. Beginner and intermediate wheel throwing courses run through the week, and Throw & Sip sessions on Fridays and Saturdays include a free drink. Experienced potters can join as members to use the studio space and equipment to make, glaze and fire their own work. Group wheel throwing, pottery painting, corporate events, birthday parties and summer camp are also offered.

Pottery painting has returned in a limited capacity with a new reservation system for groups of one to six people, and same-day bookings are allowed. The studio is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, with open studio and pickup hours on other days, and gift cards are available. Reservations and bookings are handled through the website.
