People's Food Co-op

People's Food Co-op is a community-owned grocery store in downtown Ann Arbor that focuses on local, organic and sustainable products. The shelves cover the thousands of items sold by department, and the co-op works with a group of local farms it features on its site, including Revolution Farm, Needle Lane Farm, Tantre Farm and Garden Works.

Shoppers can buy gift cards and browse the online store as well as shop in person. Membership is open, and members have a voice through the co-op's board, which holds regular meetings that members are welcome to attend. The store is open every day from 8am to 9pm and is located at 216 N. Fourth Avenue.
