Just Between Friends

Just Between Friends Ann Arbor is a kids' consignment sale that runs as a few pop-up events each year, filling one space with clothing, shoes, toys, books, games and baby gear for newborns through teens. Shoppers can find name brands at up to 90 percent off retail, and items are inspected for safety and condition with recalls checked. Items of one kind are grouped together, so shoppers don't have to hunt across the room.

Families can also sell their own outgrown items, set their own prices and keep 60 to 70 percent of what sells, with unsold items optionally donated to local families. General admission is $3 on public days, free tickets can be reserved online, and paid early shopping passes let shoppers go first. Presale tickets sell out, so reserving ahead helps. The sale is held at the Washtenaw County Fairgrounds in Ann Arbor.
