Intrinsic Bodywork

Intrinsic Bodywork is a massage therapy practice built around visceral manipulation, a hands-on approach to the fascia that surrounds the organs. Stacy Kelly, a licensed massage therapist with more than 20 years of experience, pairs it with craniosacral therapy, neural manipulation and lymphatic drainage. The work targets chronic back pain, digestive complaints, constipation, bladder incontinence and shoulder stiffness, and aromatherapy is part of the approach.

Each treatment plan is personalized, with attention to how digestive and pelvic health affect back pain, sciatica and shoulder pain. Sessions are booked by appointment online or by phone. The office is on the east side of Ann Arbor at Washtenaw Avenue, and the practice also serves clients from Ypsilanti, Dexter, Chelsea, Canton and Plymouth.
