Krankies

Krankies is a coffee shop and café in Winston-Salem, known for its roasted coffee and its biscuits. The biscuit menu includes a Krankies Classic with brined and fried chicken, honey and Texas Pete, along with options like the Dirty South with pimento cheese and the Bluebird with blueberry jam on a blueberry biscuit. Coffee is roasted in-house and sold by the bag in whole bean or ground.

The café is open weekday mornings and early afternoons, with shorter weekend hours, and it closes on the first Monday of every month. Customers can order for pickup online or place a catering order. Krankies Cash gift cards are mailed as physical cards and can only be used in person at the downtown café. The shop is in the industrial area of East 3rd Street.
