Hartnett Physical Therapy

Hartnett Physical Therapy is a physical therapy practice run by Joseph "Jay" Hartnett, a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Treatment combines hands-on work such as massage, manipulation and stretching with corrective exercise and education on what patients can do on their own.

Each client is seen one-on-one in a relaxed setting rather than a busy gym. Visits are by appointment only. A physician referral isn't needed to start, since Delaware allows evaluation and treatment for up to 30 days before a prescription is required. Some clients submit self-claims to their insurance for reimbursement, and the office can provide treatment codes on request. The practice is at 800 Woodlawn Avenue in Wilmington.
