Sommerset Paving

Sommerset Paving is a family-owned paving contractor that works on commercial properties, municipal projects and residential driveways. Its services include asphalt paving, parking lot paving, asphalt repaving and resurfacing, concrete sidewalks, curbs and walkways, and site grading. The crew also mills and recycles existing asphalt and builds aggregate surfaces for private roads and lower-traffic drive lanes. Highway, road and bridge work built to MDOT standards is also part of the business.

Each job is assigned one project manager who handles questions from start to finish, which suits property managers, HOAs and industrial sites that need steady communication. Commercial and municipal paving is the main focus, and residential projects are scheduled based on availability. Sommerset is based in Whitmore Lake and serves Ann Arbor along with towns such as Brighton, Dexter, Novi and Ypsilanti.
