About L’Antiquaire

The story

L’Antiquaire is an antiques and design gallery known for 19th and 20th century furniture, with a strong focus on Italian lighting. The shop carries Biedermeier, Neo-Classic and Art Deco pieces, along with Murano, Venini and Seguso chandeliers, lanterns and sconces. It also stocks modern Murano signed vases, period and custom mirrors, and glass tables and consoles. The shop works with architects and designers as well as private buyers, and offers custom solutions for commercial and residential firms.

The gallery is in the National Hall Historic District overlooking the Saugatuck River in West Westport. In-person visits are open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM, with Saturdays by appointment only, so calling or emailing ahead is recommended. Browsing the inventory online is available any day, and special orders are accepted.
