Nurtur Aveda Institute Des Moines

Nurtur Aveda Institute Des Moines is a beauty school clinic where services are performed by students under the direct supervision of licensed educators. Guests can book hair color, highlights and balayage, cuts and styling, hair spa treatments, facials, nail services, waxing and makeup at relaxed prices. Color and cut services are built around Aveda's plant-based products.

Because it is an educational facility, appointments run longer than at a typical salon, and guests should expect that. Only guests receiving services are allowed on the clinic floor, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who is not getting a service. Guests more than 15 minutes late may need to rescheduled. The salon is at Mills Civic Parkway in Des Moines, and memberships are available for color, blowouts, facials, nails and waxing.
