Scenic train rides through the Chester Creek Valley230 East Market Street, West Chester, PA

West Chester Railroad is a historic tourist railroad that runs scenic train rides through the Chester Creek Valley between West Chester and Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Chartered in 1831, it was one of America's earliest railroads, and its seasonal events include the Fall Foliage Express, Santa's Express and a Christmas Tree Train that carries riders to Wiggins Tree Farm to cut their own tree.
The line is operated entirely by volunteers through the West Chester Railroad Heritage Association. Rides run about 90 minutes, and the Fall Foliage Express stops at the 1880s Glen Mills Station, where riders can use a picnic grove or visit the neighboring Red Brick Winery. Tickets are sold online, and gift cards are available. The railroad is at 230 East Market Street in West Chester.
