The Painted Plate

The Painted Plate is a pottery painting studio where visitors choose a piece from more than 100 styles, including platters, vases, and children's pieces like sports figures and piggy banks. Staff provide idea books, stencils, and tools, and painters pick from over 60 glaze colors, speckled colors, and dimensional paints.

Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are also taken. Prices run from $6 to $95 and include glazes, supplies, and firing. The studio fires and glazes finished pieces and calls or texts when they are ready, usually in about a week. Parties for kids and adults are offered, and gift cards are available. The studio is at 104 W. Market Street in West Chester.
