TotalCare Weatherford is a 24/7 emergency room at 709 S Main St, part of the family-owned TotalCare group of North Texas clinics that started with a family practice in Joshua in 2004. The emergency room treats serious conditions such as chest pain, broken bones and lacerations, severe injuries, breathing problems, stroke symptoms and serious infections, and it offers on-site CT scans, digital X-rays, ultrasound and lab work. Board-certified emergency physicians see children and adults.

Patients can walk in or call ahead, and the emergency room says most people are seen with an emergency physician within about 10 minutes of check-in. The facility works with most major insurance providers and offers payment plans, and it says it does not turn away patients with life-threatening emergencies because of inability to pay.
