School for Friends

School for Friends is an early childhood center and pre-school serving children from 12 months to 6 years old. Its program is rooted in Quaker values of cooperation, equality, and nonviolence, and it focuses on helping children solve problems together, resolve conflicts, think independently, and make choices. The school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is a member of Friends Council on Education.

The center runs year-round with full-day options designed for working families. It has a dedicated outdoor playground and a parking lot for drop-off and pick-up. The school is in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, a short walk from the Red Line and major bus routes. Families can start the admissions process through the website.
