Georgetown Montessori School

Georgetown Montessori School is a Montessori school for toddlers and primary-age children, established in 1983 and set in the historic Georgetown district between the C&O Canal and the Potomac River. The toddler class takes children aged two to three, and the primary class serves ages three to six. Teachers and assistants are multilingual and trained by both AMI and AMS, and enrollment is kept at about 40 children.

Families can choose a morning program or a full-day program, with early care available before the day begins. Early care pauses during the summer months. Lee Allard is the founder and head of school, and the office can be reached by phone to ask about tuition and admissions.
