Verona Operations - MDS/SWAP

Verona Operations is the University of Wisconsin–Madison's operations facility for receiving and delivery, warehousing, and surplus property. It runs two programs: Material Distribution Services (MDS), which handles campus deliveries, warehouse storage and core stock catalog items such as paper, paper towels, tissue and ethanol, and Surplus with a Purpose (SWAP), which resells, transfers or responsibly disposes of state surplus property, including through online auctions.

MDS receiving docks accept parcel and palletized deliveries Monday through Friday, and SWAP handles auction payments and merchandise pick-up on weekdays from a walk-in door on the northeast corner of the building. The facility is closed on several state-observed holidays. It sits just south of the Highway 18/151 Exit 79 in Verona, with a large UW crest on the side of the building.
