Atkins Verona Bicycle Shoppe

Atkins Verona Bicycle Shoppe is a bike shop on the west side of Verona that sells bicycles, tandems, clothing, accessories and parts, and is known for servicing bikes of all makes and vintages. Owner Dan Atkins has been in the bike business since the mid-1960s. The shop also carries Specialized, Garmin, Saris and da Vinci tandems, along with adult tricycles and recumbents, and offers bike rentals and used bikes.

The shop is at 517 Half Mile Road, just minutes from Madison, and is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Staff take the time to help with picking out a new bike or getting an older one repaired. The shop traces its roots to a Madison bike shop that opened in 1955, and this Verona location opened in 1983.
