Vashon Heating & Cooling

Vashon Heating & Cooling installs, repairs and maintains heating and cooling systems, along with boilers, water heaters, heat pumps, furnaces and water filtration systems. The company also offers its Comfort Care maintenance membership, duct cleaning, air filtration and indoor air quality assessments, and it runs an AquaCare program for water systems. Founders Dan and Jane Schmaus started the business in 1981, and the company has been based on Vashon since 1994.

Service calls and emergency repairs are handled by a local team that keeps common parts on its trucks. Customers can request a service visit or book an appointment through the website. The company covers all of Vashon Island, including Burton, Maury, Dockton and Tahlequah, and also serves Ruston in Tacoma. Its office is on SW Bank Road on Vashon.
