Judy's Dance Academy

Judy's Dance Academy is a dance studio in Valrico offering ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and acrobatics classes for all ages and skill levels. The studio is faith-based, and its approach centers on discipline, integrity, and character alongside technique. Dancers are placed in classes by age and ability, and the studio also runs a competition team and community events.

The studio has been operating since 1991 and was founded by Judy Comiskey, who led it for many years before Gloria Pourciaux became owner and director in 2025. Judy's is in the East Shore Plaza on Highway 60 in Valrico, and families from Brandon, Plant City, Riverview and nearby areas come in for classes. Fall registration is open to new and returning dancers, and a free trial class is available.
