Semento’s Tavern

Semento's Tavern is a bar in Valparaiso with a beer list, a food menu and a beer garden. The business has been run by the Semento family for four generations, going back to Americo Semento, who opened the bar in 1926 on what was then the Lincoln Highway. Tony Semento and Robin Semento are named on the site as family members who run the business today.

The tavern is 21 and over only, and smoking is allowed throughout with no nonsmoking sections. Takeout orders can be placed by phone at 219-548-9046. It is on West Street in downtown Valparaiso, and the bar is open late most nights, until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
