Machine Shed

Machine Shed is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner made from scratch every day. The menu is Midwest comfort food: farm-style breakfast skillets and pancakes, slow-roasted pork chops, smoked brisket and a hand-breaded pork tenderloin. Many regulars come for the cinnamon rolls and the Baked Potato Soup, and the Friday Night Fish Fry and Sunday Brunch Buffet are weekly favorites.

The Urbandale restaurant serves the Des Moines metro area and welcomes walk-ins for the regular dining room, seated first come, first served. Private dining rooms and banquet catering are available for corporate lunches, family celebrations and rehearsal dinners, so groups should call ahead. Guests with serious allergies are asked to speak with a manager before ordering, and gift cards are sold.
