Koalaty Time

Koalaty Time is a child development center and preschool offering childcare and pre-school programs, with eighteen classrooms divided into four pods so children can move through the program as they develop. The curriculum is built around each classroom's age and developmental stage and includes life skills such as respect, manners, bullying awareness and self esteem. Extra programs listed include drama, soccer, tennis and a Pre-K track.

The center serves families in the Des Moines and northwestern suburbs, including Urbandale, West Des Moines, Johnston and Waukee. Tours are arranged by phone at 515-278-5220. Classrooms are cleaned several times a day and essential oils are diffused to keep the air fresh. The main preschool lessons run in the late morning, followed by structured activities through the day.
