515 Brewing Company

515 Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Clive that brews on a seven-barrel system and has more than 150 recipes, ranging from light beers to more adventurous styles. Its Mexican Spring and QuadGoals beers won Great American Beer Festival gold medals, and Thrillist included its Passé American Pale Ale in a ranking of top beers from all 50 states.

The taproom is a comfortable, laid-back room with a trailside patio that is open when the weather is nice. Groups of six or more can reserve indoor taproom seating at least 48 hours ahead, and the taproom can be rented for private events like parties, presentations and fundraisers. The brewery closed temporarily at the end of 2025 during a change in ownership and expects to reopen in June 2026. It sits right on the Clive Greenbelt Trail, a stop for bikers, runners and walkers.
