The Traveler Diner

The Traveler is a diner in Travelers Rest serving comfort food and Southern-style breakfast and lunch, with dinner service on weekdays. The restaurant traces its roots to 1959, when it opened as Guy's Restaurant, and was later known as Traveler's Restaurant under the Cox family for many years. Dishes are made to order, and the menu is built around bold flavors and generous portions.

You can order online for pickup or delivery, and the restaurant also offers catering for birthdays, holiday parties, corporate events and weddings. The diner is on North Highway 25 in Travelers Rest, and it has been run by a new ownership group that is continuing the longtime local gathering place.
