Central Texas Beauty College

Central Texas Beauty College trains students in cosmetology and manicuring at campuses in Round Rock and Temple. The cosmetology program is 1,000 hours and covers haircutting, styling, coloring, chemical relaxing and facials, while the 600-hour manicuring program covers nail care, sanitation and salon safety. Students can also earn certifications in spa facials, makeup and gel nails at no extra charge.

Hair, nail and spa services are performed by students under the supervision of licensed instructors, offered at a fair price while students learn by doing. The school is run by a local family and has operated in Central Texas since 1983. The salon is open to clients Tuesday through Friday and closed on Mondays and weekends. Students who transfer from another school can apply transfer hours that the previous school has officially released.
