3 Texans Winery

3 Texans Winery is a female owned, family-run winery and vineyard in Temple, Texas, planted in 2009 with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo grapes. The tasting room is a 3,600 square foot limestone building with a side patio that looks out over the vines. The wine list includes sparkling, sweet and dry wines, a wine based apple cider and frozen wine Bellinis, and food options run from charcuterie plates to cheesecake, chips with homemade salsa and hummus vegetable plates.

Tastings are five for $20, and a reservation is only needed for groups of six or more. Glasses of wine run $8 to $11. Outside alcohol and smoking are not allowed, and the winery is pet free, though two winery dogs greet guests. The winery hosts private events and weddings, with event requests made through the website or by email, and it also hosts recurring yoga and wine nights and a fall market. Wine club members get their own events, and digital gift cards are available.
