Summit Veterinary Referral Center

Summit Veterinary Referral Center is a veterinary specialty and emergency hospital for cats and dogs in Tacoma. Board-certified specialists cover internal medicine, neurology, oncology, radiology, surgery and anesthesia, and the hospital also runs urgent care and critical care around the clock. Most patients arrive on referral from their regular veterinarian.

Pet owners can self-refer, though the center encourages them to involve their primary veterinarian in that decision. Specialists keep the regular vet informed and call owners to explain their findings and recommendations. The hospital has operated since 2010 and serves Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup and the wider Puget Sound area.
