Canyon Crest K-9 Training Center is a dog training facility run by Ron Pace and his wife Patti, operating since 1977. The center covers puppy preschool, obedience, advanced training, tracking, agility, service dog training, and personal protection work, with boarding and a trainer/instructor course also offered. Ron is the author of the dog training book "Who's the Boss?" and has worked with the Washington State Police K-9 Association.
The facility sits on five acres in the Waller neighborhood of Tacoma, and it serves dog owners across the South Puget Sound, including Puyallup, Gig Harbor, Lakewood and Olympia. Clients also travel from Seattle and out of state for the training programs. Weekday hours run in the morning and afternoon, with Saturday sessions by appointment and closed Sundays. Pet containment systems through DogWatch Northwest are available as well.
