Summit Kennels

Summit Kennels offers in-home dog boarding and private dog training, run by a trainer who keeps the environment low-stress for dogs prone to reactivity. The kennel is designed to keep boarded dogs calm, with time for rest, play and walks, and with triggers like vacuuming or kennel doors managed through outdoor areas and remote-controlled treat dispensers.

Dogs can stay for boarding, or the trainer can work with them through private lessons and coaching for pet owners, sport trainers and show handlers. Day training is available with drop-off at the kennel or with sessions held at your home. Visits and boarding reservations are arranged by phone or email, so call or write ahead to tour the kennel. The business is located on 104th Street East in East Tacoma.
