PacWestK9 is a dog training business offering structured programs for puppies, adolescent dogs, adult dogs and elite working breeds. Its offerings include puppy classes, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification for fear, reactivity and aggression, e-collar training, sport and protection work, and board and train programs. Gina Lopez, a K9 trainer with more than 15 years of hands-on experience, leads the training.

Every dog starts with a 30-minute evaluation for $75, valid for 60 days, and that fee is applied toward any recommended program. Owners take part in the work, and board and train programs include transfer sessions so the owner learns to handle the dog afterward. The Tacoma facility is paired with a 10-acre farm used for home-style boarding, and PupFit daycare runs on Mondays and Fridays. Boarding space is limited, so early booking helps.
