The Annex

The Annex is a coffee shop, bakery and deli in the Old Orchard district of Webster Groves, serving locally roasted coffee, pastries, breads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches made with house-smoked meats, and cocktails. Its signature sandwiches, fresh salads and quiches sit alongside a specialty food market with tinned fish, baking mixes and bulk candy.

The heated, covered patio is open in cold weather as well as warm, and the space also has indoor seating. Half Pint, the ice cream shop in the same space, serves scoops from Ronnie's Ice Cream. Custom gift boxes and corporate orders can be arranged, and bulk coffee and pastries can be pre-ordered. Online ordering is limited because the business is small.
