Schnucks

Schnucks is a family-owned grocery chain founded in north St. Louis in 1939, known for its meat department and its bakery. The bakery makes more than 200 items fresh daily, including breads, breakfast pastries, cookies, brownies, cakes and pies, gooey butter cake, bagels and English muffins, and it takes custom cake orders for birthdays, showers and other events.

Custom cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods can be ordered ahead for pickup at a scheduled time. Schnucks Rewards members can also get a free birthday donut through the app. The Schnucks at 9220 Shortline Dr in Saint Louis is one of more than 100 stores across Missouri, Illinois and Indiana, and the company's customer care line is open daily.
