Water & fire restoration in St. Louis

When water or fire damages a home or business, the first hours matter. Water and fire restoration companies pull out standing water, dry out walls and floors, clean up soot and smoke, remove odors, and rebuild what was damaged. Many also handle mold remediation and testing, storm damage, and reconstruction, so you may be able to deal with several problems through one crew. Ask whether the company works directly with your insurer and who will be your main contact. Check that the crew is licensed and insured, and ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Call as soon as it is safe to do so, since mold can begin growing within a couple of days of water exposure.
