Laciny Bros.

Laciny Bros. is a metal fabrication and machine shop that has been working in St. Louis since 1916. The company is known for sanitary fabrication, building stainless-steel tanks, vessels and process equipment for the food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, and for custom machines and engineering work. Its history includes early work on fire truck tanks, dairy trucks and a whole-body PET scan machine built for Washington University.

The shop works on custom design and engineering projects, from drawings made from hand sketches to fabricated machinery, and also offers controls and automation, waterjet cutting, material sales and field work. Clients often return for years of repeat projects, including urgent equipment repairs for pharmaceutical production. The shop is in University City, just west of downtown St. Louis, on Vernon Avenue.
