Fredrick Inn Steakhouse

Fredrick Inn Steakhouse is a long-running hometown restaurant in St. Joseph, known for slow-roasted prime rib served with au jus, hand-cut aged steaks and its spinach salad. Evening entrees come with an all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar, and the menu also covers fried chicken, chicken livers, liver and onions, and a range of seafood including catfish and shrimp.

Lunch is served Tuesday through Friday, and the lunch menu changes daily. Rosie's steak soup is only available on Saturday nights, and fresh baked pies and bread pudding round out dessert. Reservations are made by phone rather than through the website, and the restaurant is on Fredrick Avenue.
