1st Barrel Brewing

1st Barrel Brewing is a taproom where head brewer Eric, known to many as "The Wizard," makes craft beers with unexpected twists. The lineup includes a Gin and Tonic Pale Ale, Cherry Crisp, Dandelion Ale, and two heather-brewed Scottish ales, Little Gemma and Fat Heather. Seasonal releases include Dark Dissertation Chapter 3, a yearly Russian Imperial Stout, and Old Christmas Tree, an Old Ale with juniper and spruce.

The taproom is family friendly, with spacious seating for both adults and children, and dogs and other pets are welcome. Occasional live music nights, seasonal beer festivals and exclusive tasting sessions are on the calendar. Guests can settle in for a long visit in the comfortable tap room. It is located in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
