Springfield Utility Board

Springfield Utility Board, often called SUB, is a customer-owned utility that supplies electric power and drinking water in Springfield, Oregon. It also runs a city wastewater and stormwater service, a dark fiber network, and energy conservation and weatherization programs. Its rate schedules cover electric, water, and dark fiber service.

Customers can pay bills online, set up AutoPay or an average payment plan, and request start or stop service. The main office is at 250 A Street in Springfield, and the utility lists separate phone lines for electric outages and water emergencies. Because SUB is an independent agency rather than a city department, the rates customers pay go back into running the utility.
