Creative Shelters: Awnings & Outdoor Living

Creative Shelters makes and installs custom awnings, patio covers, solar shade screens and aluminum handrails for homes in Lane County and the surrounding area. Retractable awnings, Alumawood and Acrylite patio covers, and louvered opening-roof systems are among the main lines, along with metal-covered awnings over powder-coated aluminum frames. The company also sells canopies, RV and boat shelters and specialty PVC fittings through its separate canopy store.

Estimates are free, and the team will walk through options for a space that isn't yet sure which style fits. Installation is handled by an experienced crew led by a principal's husband, and the business says it stays available for service and repairs after the job is finished. The showroom is at 2787 Olympic Street in Springfield, open weekdays during business hours.
