Southern Maine Community College

Southern Maine Community College is Maine's largest and oldest community college, with a South Portland campus overlooking Casco Bay and a Midcoast campus in Brunswick. Its Conferences & Events office rents out several campus venues, including the McKernan Inn & Events, a coastal mission-style space for up to 100 guests, Jewett Hall Auditorium, which seats up to 125, and the All-Faiths Chapel.

The college hosts weddings, receptions, business meetings, retreats and training sessions. Food is typically provided by McKernan Inn & Events or Sodexo Dining Services, with menus customized in advance and prices discussed with the events team. Parking on the South Portland campus is free, and the events team arranges permits when needed.
