Mt. McCoy Auctions

Mt. McCoy Auctions is a firearms auction house that sells collectible, historic, military surplus and modern sporting guns on consignment. The company says it sells more than 12,000 firearms a year, and its vault pages describe individual pieces such as a 1915 Smith & Wesson New Century Triple Lock, a 1912 Colt Model 1911 Navy pistol and a 2007 Kolar Arms Max Skeet shotgun, with condition, finish and provenance noted for each.

The team writes detailed listings for consignors and also appraises collections, with an expert visiting the owner to estimate value. Sellers can consign a single gun or a whole collection, and buyers can bid on current auctions hosted on GunBroker or eBay. The office is at Ward Ave in Simi Valley, open Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturdays, and it is closed on Sundays.
