EPDM

EPDM Coatings makes and sells Liquid Butyl Rubber, a one-coat liquid roof coating for flat and low-slope roofs, along with an RV roof coating, roof cleaner, butyl caulk, seam sealer and roof spreaders. The coating is applied with a roller at about 20 mils, needs no primer, and cures into a seamless membrane. The company lists it for metal, rubber, fiberglass, concrete, TPO, BUR and other surfaces, and says it is sold as a do-it-yourself product that contractors also buy.

Orders and pricing are handled online, and retail orders can qualify for free shipping above a set amount during promotions. Coverage is listed at 50 square feet per gallon, and the product should be applied between 50 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, or around 70 degrees with spray equipment. The company is located on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, Connecticut, and says the coating is made in the USA.
