Alli's Cafe

Alli's Cafe is a breakfast and lunch spot in Shelby run by Cleveland Vocational Industries, a private nonprofit that serves adults mainly in Cleveland County. The cafe also works as a training center where CVII associates learn restaurant jobs by trying different roles while working alongside full-time staff or job coaches.

The cafe is open to the public on weekdays only, so plan a visit Monday through Friday. Daily specials are offered at lunch, and the full menu and current specials are posted on the cafe's Facebook page. It sits on North Post Road in Shelby, and service is part of the training, so the pace reflects people still learning the work.
