A Whole Grain Bakery

Layla's Bakery & Cafe bakes European pastries, eclairs, sourdough breads and retail bread loaves, and uses whole grains across its bakery items. Owners Javier Franco, a pastry chef, and Amy, a front-of-house manager, opened the bakery in April 2018. The small brunch menu changes with seasonal ingredients, some of them sourced from other local businesses, and the cafe serves coffee.

Custom cake orders are no longer taken, but individual desserts are usually on hand, so stop in or call to see what is available that day. Seasonal items such as Stollen and pies have been offered around the holidays. The cafe has a patio and is open Tuesday through Saturday mornings and early afternoons, closed Sundays and Mondays. It is in West Sedona.
