University Used Tires

University Used Tires is a tire shop that sells inspected used tires and can order new ones when a used set won't work. Used tires are repaired when needed and put back on the road, and tires that can no longer be driven on are ground up and repurposed, with the rubber made into truck bedliner. The shop also offers bedliner applied as vehicle paint or as a shop floor coating.

The shop is open around the clock, so drivers can come in at any hour. A separate 24-hour roadside line covers lockouts, jump starts and tire changes, and a mobile tire shop can be reached by phone. Vehicle paint jobs are booked by appointment, and floor coatings are quoted after an estimate. The shop is operated through HMC.org, a nonprofit in Seattle working to keep waste tires out of landfills.
