the Sanctuary at Denny Park

The Sanctuary at Denny Park is a spiritual and cultural hub developed from the building of Denny Park Lutheran Church. Since its launch in January 2018, it has hosted a mix of churches, artists, support groups, study groups, nonprofits and community events. Its stated aim is to cultivate the soul of South Lake Union and downtown Seattle.

The space offers event space as well as office and studio space. The building sits in South Lake Union, close to downtown Seattle, and Dan Jacobs, the curator of community and director, leads the effort. Neighbors who want to use the space or learn about the groups that meet there can reach out to the team directly.
