Hawthorne Stereo

Hawthorne Stereo sells new and used hi-fi equipment, with a focus on two-channel stereo and vinyl playback. The shop carries amplifiers, receivers, turntables, phono gear, speakers, headphones and cables, and keeps a room full of used hi-fi, speakers and accessories. The store chooses lines for value, build quality and support rather than trendy products.

The shop also repairs stereo equipment, from turntables to tube amps, and says it has more than 50 years of repair experience. Customers can email or call with questions about inventory or upgrades, and the store offers gift cards and a newsletter. The shop is at 6303 Roosevelt Way Northeast in Seattle.
