Neutral mediation for divorce, parenting plans and neighbor disputes4505 44th Ave, Seattle, WA

Divorce Without Court is a mediation practice run by Liz Steen, a neutral mediator who helps people reach their own agreements on parenting plans, the family home and disputes with neighbors instead of leaving those decisions to a judge. Mediation is offered for families, couples and neighbors, and the work is private and confidential, with no public courtroom and no public record. Temporary parenting schedules for parents affected by substance use are also part of the practice.
Mediation runs as two meetings: a joint session and a separate one-on-one video meeting, each planned for three hours. Participants fill out a short private intake form after booking and take home a written list of agreements rather than signing anything on the spot. Liz does not give legal advice or represent either side, and she does not arrange loans. Quick 15-minute phone calls for help with divorce forms are available for $65. Liz works out of West Seattle, and cancellation and rescheduling terms are posted on the site.
