Ballard Marine Service

Ballard Marine Service is a marine repair shop that works on outboard and stern drive engines, with factory-trained, certified technicians on staff. It is a Mercury Platinum Dealer and carries the full Mercury four-stroke line, including Verado and OptiMax models, along with Mercruiser motors and drives and some Johnson and Evinrude parts. Work covers engine replacement, powerhead and gear case rebuilds, rigging, electronics installation and general boat fabrication.

The shop has a parts department and sells new, used and remanufactured engines, and customers can order parts by phone or email with part numbers. Service is performed at the shop by appointment-style drop-off during weekday business hours. The business sits near the Ballard Bridge at 1526 NW 46th St. in Seattle, in a building that once housed a blacksmith shop dating to 1900.
