Artful Ashes

Artful Ashes makes handmade glass art memorials that hold a small amount of a loved one's ashes, blended with vibrant colors into a swirl sealed inside the glass. The menu covers heart, orb, starfish, pawprint and angel wings memorials, pendants, oil lamps, fillable urns, and ash spreading.

You can visit the studio in Seattle's Ballard area by appointment to view samples and watch memorials being made, or drop off ashes in person. If visiting isn't possible, a collection package can be mailed for sending ashes, about one tablespoon per memorial. Current turnaround is about eight weeks, and the business offers a 90-day money-back guarantee.
