Santee Music Academy

Santee Music Academy teaches piano, guitar, voice and singing, drums, bass, ukulele, violin, and orchestra or band instruments to students from age 4 to adults. Lessons come in private, semi-private, small group and after-school formats. The academy has taught since 2007 and says it has served more than 1,200 students, with several teachers for each instrument, most with college training or professional performance experience.

Lessons are month to month with no semester minimum, and there is a $45 annual membership fee. Students can rent instruments and receive a student discount on books and supplies. Lessons are offered seven days a week, with early morning and lunchtime slots that suit home schoolers and working adults. Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons, and the studio uses glass-windowed lesson rooms and security cameras as part of its family safety plan. The studio is in Santee.
