Physical Therapy

Sanford Physical Therapy is the rehabilitation service of Sanford Health, a nonprofit health system in the upper Midwest. Its therapists work with people recovering from injuries, surgeries, pain and illnesses that limit movement. Care covers orthopedic and sports injuries, stroke and neurological rehabilitation, postoperative recovery and pain management. Specialty treatments include dry needling, aquatic therapy, lymphedema therapy and LSVT BIG for Parkinson's. Recovery programs cover common knee, hip, shoulder and ankle surgeries.

Each patient works one-on-one with a physical therapist on an individualized plan that includes specific exercises, adjusted as they progress. Athletes can also see therapists before an injury to correct imbalances and weaknesses.
